Getting to Know the Curtis Orthodontics Team
Dr. Erik Curtis
In 2001, after completing his 4-year dental program and 2-year orthodontic specialty residency, Dr. Curtis, along with his wife, three sons and one daughter, were thrilled to move to North Idaho. They are happiest when they are spending time together as a family. Winters are spent on our local ski slopes. Spring and fall are spent out on our rivers fly fishing and carrying on the traditions from his youth. Summers are spent enjoying the warm weather on our beautiful lakes and on our local golf courses.
Dr. Curtis is dedicated to providing quality care in a fun, happy and upbeat environment. Dr. Curtis is grateful to his dental peers that have voted him as Top Dentist for several years. He is also thrilled that his patients and community have voted him as “Best of North Idaho” every year since 2010.
Dr. Russell Wilson
Dr. Russell T. Wilson was born and raised in Rock Springs, Wyoming, as the second of four children. He loved growing up in an area with plentiful outdoor activities, such as hiking, fishing, hunting, and camping. He was actively involved in his church, high school music and sports programs, and the Boy Scouts of America, receiving his Eagle Scout Award as a young teenager. At 15 years old, after completing his orthodontic treatment with braces, he set a goal to become an orthodontist himself, so that he could help others experience the confidence and self-esteem that a bright smile brings!
After high school graduation, he served a voluntary church mission in Poland for two years. He then attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he enjoyed participating in multiple intramural sports teams and clubs while pursuing his undergraduate degree. He moved on to the University of Utah in Salt Lake City for dental school, where he met his soulmate, Jen. They married shortly after moving to Houston, Texas, for Dr. Wilson’s orthodontic residency training. They have since welcomed two young children into their family.
